Jalgaon: A farmer unfortunately died in an accident when his children and guests had come to celebrate Diwali at home. The farmer went to the field as he was returning after giving water to the crops in the field, but while returning from the field, there was a two-wheeler accident on the road. The unfortunate incident of death of farmers in an accident took place between Gudhe Kolgaon in Bhadgaon Taluka on Erandol Yevla State Highway. The deceased farmer has been identified as Bharat Kashinath Mali (age 52, Gudhe Ta Bhadgaon). Due to the time passing on the farmer during the Diwali festival season, a mountain of grief has fallen on all the families including boys and girls, guests to celebrate Diwali at their home.

Bharat Kashinath Mali, a farmer and vegetable trader lived with his family at Gudhe. He was making a living on agriculture. As there is no electricity supply during the day, one has to go to the fields to water the crops at night. According to this, since electricity supply is available between 10 am and 6 am on Sunday, Bharat Mali went to the field on a two-wheeler to water the crops.

As it was night time and the girls and guests had come home for Diwali, the family refused to let them go to the farm. However, Bharat Mali did not listen because he was worried about the crops. They went to the fields to water the crops. While he was returning after watering the crops, his bike accident happened at Vishwas Nagar near Gudhe village. The exact cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained. When he was taken to Chalisgaon for treatment, the doctors at Chalisgaon declared him brought dead.

Late Bharat Mali was cremated in a mournful atmosphere on Monday afternoon at twelve o’clock. This time, the family had only one cry. Bharat Mali is survived by his wife, Nivrithi and Sopan, two sons and a daughter. The family of Mali has become numb due to the death on Diwali and grief is being expressed everywhere in the village.
