
There was a stir in Bihar’s Gopalganj due to the death of 5 people under suspicious circumstances. The age of the deceased is said to be between 25 to 65 years. After this incident, there is an uproar among the families of the deceased. On the other hand, the district administration has cited illness, food poisoning and heart attack as the causes of death of five people. Post-mortem of one body was done at Gorakhpur Medical College, the remaining bodies have been cremated.
It is being told that this death occurred due to drinking poisonous liquor. The incident took place in different villages of Baikunthpur police station area. The deceased have been identified as 50-year-old Sikandar Sah of Sirsa village, 55-year-old Suresh Ram of Baharampur village, 30-year-old Tinku Ram of the same village, 25-year-old son Rohit Sharma of Bamo village and 65-year-old Jhagru Ram of Baikunthpur village.
Suspicious death of 5 people created panic
On this matter, Gopalganj SDM Dr. Pradeep Kumar said that all of them were suffering from some disease or the other. They died during treatment in different hospitals. Sikandar Sah was an asthma patient and was given medicine for chest burning. He died at home on 19 November. Baharampur resident Suresh Ram has died due to food poisoning.

Regarding the fifth deceased, Jhagru Ram, resident of Baikunthpur, he died of heart attack on November 18 during treatment in Sadar Hospital. BJP has alleged that the death was caused by poisonous liquor and has demanded an investigation.
State General Secretary Mithelesh Tiwari says that very sad news has come from Baikunthpur police station area. Five to six people have died due to drinking poisonous liquor. Many people are undergoing treatment in the hospital. It is alleged that the police administration is trying to suppress this matter. The families of the deceased are being threatened.
