Shweta Srivastava Son News: Two accused who crushed the son of Additional SP Shweta Srivastava with an SUV in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, have been arrested. Police arrested Sarthak Singh and Devshree Verma. Arrest made in case of culpable homicide. Police will take both of them on remand.
Accused Sarthak is a BBA student in a private university. Devashree Verma is an engineering student. Police have recovered white colored SUV UP 32 NT 6669. The SUV belongs to Kanpur jeweler Anshul Verma. Anshul Verma is the uncle of accused Devashree. The accused were racing in SUVs in the morning on G20 Road. The SUV and the accused were identified from the CCTV footage.
Sarthak’s father Ravindra Singh alias Pappu has been a district panchayat member from SP from Barabanki Ramnagar. Regarding the arrest, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Ashish Srivastava also issued a statement and said that further investigation is going on.

According to the police, Naimish (10), son of Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Shweta Srivastava posted in Lucknow, had gone for skating practice near Janeshwar Mishra Park, when he died after being hit by a speeding vehicle.
He had told that after this accident, the police took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem.
Earlier, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Ashish Srivastava had said that today at 5.30 am, Gomtinagar extension police station received information that the son of Shweta Srivastava, working at the police headquarters, was hit by an unknown vehicle while he was practicing skating.
