- During this time single use plastic will not be used, paperless system will be adopted and tree plantation drive will be conducted.
- Previous editions of Tourism Mart have been organized in Guwahati, Tawang, Shillong, Gangtok, Agartala, Imphal, Kohima and Aizawl.
- Shillong is hosting this event for the second time since its inception.
- Around 100 delegates including domestic and international will participate in this event.
2. 54th International Film Festival (IFFI): The International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2023 was inaugurated in Goa on November 20. 7. Death of Dr SS Badrinath: On November 21, the founder of India’s largest charitable eye hospital, Shankar Eye Hospital, Dr. Sengamedu Srinivasa Badrinath passed away in Chennai. 83 year old Dr. Many leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi have paid tribute to Badrinath.
