Fake Gold Selling Gang in Annamayya District : Madanapalle police of Annamaiya district arrested seven interstate thieves who were cheating people by selling fake gold. Two kilos of fake gold and nine cell phones were seized from the accused. According to the details disclosed by Madanapalle DSP Keshappa, three members of the gang were found to be selling fake gold at Madanapalle centre. Palle Raja of Attapur in Telangana bought gold from the accused.
DSP said that a case has been registered based on the complaint of the victim and the accused have been arrested. One of the seven accused is absconding and will be nabbed soon, he said. Complaints have been received many times about this cheating gang. The SIM cards used by them are not in their name. They make various groups and commit frauds with a well-planned plan. The first group brings them by talking on the phone… the second group makes them believe the people who come, the third group pretends to be the police… they cheat people with various groups. Police have warned people not to believe anyone selling gold at a low price.
