In a religious ritual to be held on November 24 at Badabhaktamal in Ayodhya, a 1/4 kg gold crown, umbrella and necklace will be offered to the seated Sri Sitaram ie Janaki Ballabh. Awadhesh Das, Mahant of the temple said that Lord Sreesitaram will be crowned by CM Yogi Adityanath in Abhijit Muhurat.

Five artisans from Rajasthan have prepared the crown in one and a half months. Their size is one by one feet. It is also studded with diamonds. This crown was prepared by his disciples. On November 25th, a 51 meter Chunri will also be dedicated to Maa Saryu. On 26th, the completion of the rituals and the honoring ceremony of Saints and Dharmacharyas will be held. This will be the CM’s third Ayodhya visit in a month. Earlier, he has participated in cabinet meeting and Deepotsav program.
Mukut is made in Chandrika style
Mahant Awadhesh Das said that when Lord Rama returned to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile, he was crowned at the time of Rajtilak. On the same lines, the crown of the Chandrika style has been made. Creepers and other depictions in this crown are sequenced as mentioned in Valmiki’s Ramayana. Sanatan culture and nature have been enshrined on this crown.
