Amravati Amravati Crime News : A shocking incident has taken place in Amravati district where a drunk elder brother killed his younger brother by hitting him with an iron rod. The incident took place at Anjangaon Bari in Badnera police station limits, 15 km from Amravati city. The accused brother’s name is Praveen Ingole and the name of the deceased is Ankit Ingole.
What happened: Ramesh Ingole (age 65) lives with his son Ankit (age 28) and Pravin (age 32) at Baripura in Anjangaon Bari. Ankit had gone to his uncle’s house with his father to watch the Cricket World Cup final on Sunday. A stew was planned there. After dinner both of them reached home at 2 pm. He had brought a pot of broth for Pravin. At that time, Pravin was watching the India-Australia final under the influence of alcohol.
Anger because India lost the match: Meanwhile, Australia started batting in the evening. Then Pravin was continuously abusing both of them. After India lost the match around 9 pm, Pravin got even more angry. “India lost the match because you ate mutton”, he started abusing both of them. So the father threw the mobile phone at Pravin and killed him. After this, Pravin angrily beat his father’s leg with an iron rod from the house. When Ankit went to stop him, Pravin hit Ankit four-five times on the head with an iron rod. When Ankit tried to run out of the house for rescue, he fell down after stumbling.
Death due to blow to head: After this, the frightened father came out of the house to save his life and raised his voice to the neighbours. Neighbors immediately admitted him to the hospital. But on the other hand Ankit was lying in the house all night. In the morning, neighbors found him dead. After this he informed the Badnera police. Police sent Ankit’s body for post-mortem. It is clear from the medical report that Ankit died due to a severe blow to the head. After that, the police registered a case of murder on the complaint of the injured Ramesh Ingole and arrested Pravin. Badnera police is conducting further investigation in this case.
