Sitapur: Truck that was running after hitting the pickup crushed the bike rider, death

Sitapur, Amrit Vichar. A speeding uncontrolled truck hit the pickup at Ramkund intersection of Mahmudabad Kotwali area. When the young man tried to stop the truck that was running after the accident, the truck crushed him. The youth’s bike got stuck in the truck and was dragged for a distance of one and a half kilometers. Due to which the young man died tragically on the spot. Police have taken the truck and driver into custody from Bhagauli.

According to the information, near Rampur Mathura Tempo Stand located on Mahmudabad-Semri road, the truck ran away after hitting the pickup truck of bike rider Shubham (26), son of Shravan Kumar. Shubham followed him on the bike till Ramkund intersection. At the same time, Shubham came under the speeding truck. Shubham died on the spot after being crushed by the truck and his bike got stuck in the truck and was dragged for about one and a half kilometres.

Shubham’s bike was found lying near the bypass being built east of Motipur intersection on Mahmudabad-Fatehpur road, about one and a half km away from Ramkund intersection. The driver fled from the spot with the truck. The people present at the spot hurriedly took Shubham to CHC Mahmudabad. Where the doctors declared him dead as soon as they saw him.

Deceased Shubham’s wife Khushboo, younger brother Pinku, sister Kajal and mother are in bad condition and crying. Police caught the truck along with the driver near Bhagauli in Barabanki district. Kotwal Omveer Singh said that information about the accident has been received, after receiving the complaint a case will be registered and necessary action will be taken.
