Jodhpur/Phalodi. Husband Mahiram Bishnoi shot his wife Anamika Bishnoi dead after entering a clothes shop on Nagaur Road in Phalodi town. This spread sensation in the entire area. There was silence in the shop for a long time and the neighboring shopkeeper became suspicious. When she peeked into the shop, she saw Anamika sitting on a chair. The body has been kept in the mortuary, where the post-mortem was conducted.

Phalodi police station officer Bhanwarsingh Jakhar told that Anamika and Mahiram were married about 12-13 years ago. He has two sons aged 12 and 9 years. Anamika has been having rift with her husband and in-laws for a long time. Due to this, she lived with her father in Khara village, away from her husband and in-laws. There is also a dispute going on between the two in the court. Accused husband Mahiram runs a medical shop. He is a resident of Nagarasar village under Bajju police station of Bikaner.
