Talegaon Dabhade, 23: A youth died after drowning in Kasarasai (Kusgaon) Dam. The search team managed to retrieve his body from the water on Tuesday.
The deceased youth has been identified as Madhav Hargauri Singh (age 17, Res. Satpur, Ambedlink Road, Dist. Ambad, Dist. Nashik).
He came from Nashik to Hinjewadi for the exam. After the exam, Atebhau came to Kasarasai (Kusgaon) dam for boating and to see the dam on the request of a friend. At that time, Madhav Hargouri Singh entered the water. As the depth of the water was not estimated, he drowned on Monday. Police Sub-Inspector Ajay Lohekar of Shirgaon Police Station and other police personnel visited the spot. On Monday evening, the activists of Wildlife Protection Maval Sanstha, Shivdurg Mitra Lonavala, Aapda Mitra Maval, Aapda Mitra (Chakan) NGOs Nilesh Garade, Anil Andre, Vinay Sawant, Shubham Kakade, Avi Karle, Prathamesh Supekar, Ramesh Kumhar, Vaibhav Wagh, Ganesh Gaikwad , Ashish Bodke tries to find Madhav. However, the search had to be stopped after dark.
