Khandwa: In Madhya Pradesh’s Khandwa district, an incident has come to light where a young woman was attacked with a knife due to one-sided love, similar to Jharkhand. A 20-year-old youth of Bangarda village broke into the house of a tribal girl and stabbed her with a knife out of one-sided love. In which the concerned young woman is seriously injured. The accused youth’s name is Bablu and he works as a watchman. According to the information received, the accused youth entered the house and attacked her with a knife when the concerned young woman was in the house with her sister. The accused young man had proposed marriage to the concerned young woman, but the young woman rejected it. Out of anger, the accused youth attacked her with a knife.
In this attack, the girl has sustained serious injuries on her neck and hand. She was admitted to the hospital for treatment, but her condition is said to be critical. The accused youth is currently absconding and a case of attempted murder has been registered against him. A few months ago, the accused youth’s father died. After the death of his father, the accused was appointed as village watchman in his place on compassionate grounds. Meanwhile, according to Khandwa District Superintendent of Police Vivek Singh, the condition of the concerned young woman is critical despite the doctor’s surgery. Therefore, a police team was formed to arrest the accused and was searching for him. The body of the accused who fled after the attack has been found. The information has come to light that the body of the accused was found in the back water of Indira Sagar Dam. Accused Bablu attacked the victim and absconded.
Meanwhile, a similar incident had come to light in Jharkhand. On August 23, a 19-year-old girl in class 12 was burnt alive by a youth named Shah Rukh in Dumka out of unrequited love. The accused has been arrested in this case and police are taking further action.
