Swara Bhasker On Boycott Trend: Amidst the Boycott trend, this statement was given about Swara Bhaskar regarding Alia Bhatt
While talking to RJ Siddhartha Kanan, Munavvar shared his experience of suicidal thoughts and talked about fighting them. He said, “This body has been given by God. Many things are ‘haram’ (sin) in Islam because they harm your body, like tattoos, cigarettes. To end the existence of that body is considered to be the biggest sin. And I really think why did they do that to my mother? Such a smart woman, why did she do this considering it to be a sin? It is said that weak people do this, but in the last 3-4 years I realized that only very strong people can do this.
Talking about the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, Munawwar recalled how shaken he was to hear the news. He said, “Hands were trembling for 2-3 days. Even today when I hear such news, or I make fun of it myself, after a minute I go back there. And I realize what it takes. When these thoughts started coming in my mind, the first thing that stopped me was that God would not allow it, and secondly, you start seeing faces. What will be their first reaction when they hear the news? Stop, don’t do it (wait, don’t do it).”
Munawwar Farooqui won the first season of Lock Up and released a new song Khwaab, which he also composed. In the song, he talks about the struggles he has faced in his life, including the death of his mother and his arrest last year.
