2. Major changes in the rules of NPS

5. More money to be paid on toll tax
If you travel to and from Delhi on the Yamuna Expressway or use this route for travel, you will have to pay higher toll tax from today. As per the new rate hike effective September 1, the rate of toll tax for cars, jeeps, vans and other light motor vehicles has been increased from Rs 2.50 per km to Rs 2.65 per km. That means there has been an increase of 10 paise per kilometer. The toll tax for light commercial vehicles, light goods vehicles or minibuses has been increased from Rs 3.90 per km to Rs 4.15 per km. Bus or truck toll rate has been increased from Rs 7.90 per km to Rs 8.45 per km. Earlier, Yamuna Expressway toll tax was increased in 2021.
