So don’t worry because we have good news for you. In the days to come, you will not have to beat your mind and you will be able to enjoy Kachori sitting in Delhi. Keeping this in mind, Zomato has started its new Intercity Legends service. Through this you will also be able to order food from different cities of India. The company has started this for select customers in Gurugram and South Delhi.
How will this service work?
In a blog post, Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal explained about this service and wrote that the fresh food will be prepared by the restaurant and will be packed in reusable and tamper-proof containers. So that they are safe in air travel. This food will be kept safe by state-of-the-art mobile refrigeration technology without freezing or adding any preservatives. Goyal further wrote that all types of dishes have been lab tested to ensure that the aroma, texture and taste are retained.

Goyal further explained about this service that keeping in mind Zomato’s large network of restaurants, delivery partners, better understanding of food technology and customer preferences, the famous food items from across the country will be delivered to you on the very next day itself. Currently, the list of cities to order include Kolkata, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Bengaluru, Mathura, Chennai, Agra and Bhubaneshwar.
