For not giving money for liquor, the accused killed the farmer by beating him with sticks. The accused and his family members fled after the incident. The police took the body into custody. Farmer’s wife Vimlesh Devi has filed a complaint against four members of his family including accused Rakesh.

Police station Baniyather said that farmer Nempal (46), a resident of village Allipur elder alias Bada village of the area, was going to the field on Wednesday evening. Rakesh alias Topi, who lives in the neighborhood, is an alcoholic. He was demanding money from Nampal for liquor. He left without saying anything. At around 9.30 pm, Nempal was returning from the farm with a bicycle. Accused Rakesh again stopped Nampal and started asking for money for liquor.

According to the complaint, Nempal refused to pay the money, on which the accused killed him by thrashing him with sticks. Hearing the noise, Nempal’s family members and other villagers also came. During this the accused Rakesh fled from the spot. Nampal died on the spot.

Thana Baniyather SO Karmpal Singh, Narauli outpost in-charge Satish Moral reached the spot along with the police team and took the dead body into custody. Farmer’s wife Vimlesh Devi has accused Rakesh, his daughter, wife and mother of beating him to death with sticks. The police force was deployed in the village till late night.

The accused killed him by beating him with sticks for not giving him money to drink liquor. The family members have given the named Tahrir. The accused fled from the spot. He will be arrested soon.
