Ambikapur (VNS). The collector took a departmental review meeting held in the collectorate meeting room on Thursday. He directed to start the process of marking of buildings, preparation of estimates for construction work etc. for the operation of 12 newly approved Swami Atmanand Excellence Schools in the district. Apart from the announcement made by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel during the meeting program, approval has been received to open 9 more Swami Atmanand Schools.
While reviewing the condition of the dilapidated school and Anganwadi buildings, the Collector said that the officers of RES, Janpad Panchayat, Women and Child Development and School Education Department should inspect. In the next 3 days, the responsibility of preparing the development block and institution wise information of highly dilapidated and repairable buildings and reporting it will be the responsibility of the Executive Engineer of RES. The Executive Engineer will submit the repairable buildings estimate. He directed to take up the demolition work of the most dilapidated buildings in the next 15 days. He directed to start the repair of buildings from remote, mining-affected and special backward tribal areas.
While reviewing the Chief Minister’s Urban Slum Health Scheme, the Collector said that in order to get information about the camp being organized in advance, a one-week route chart should be prepared, in which the camp site and date should be mentioned. Give wide publicity to this route chart so that more and more people know about the camp. Similarly, under Mukhyamantri Haat Bazar Clinic scheme, appoint specialist doctors in the camps to be held in the markets. He directed to make a visual assessment of the areas affected by excessive rainfall and scanty rainfall in the district till September 15. He asked them to complete the work of Girdawari on time without error. To encourage farmers for organic farming, use of Jeevamrut and Brahmastra made from cow urine.
District Panchayat CEO Vinay Kumar Langeh, Municipal Commissioner Pratishtha Mamgai, Forest Divisional Officer Pankaj Kamal, Additional Collector AL Dhruv, Tanuja Salam, SDM, District CEO and District Officers of various departments were present in the meeting.
