New Delhi. A cryptocurrency trading platform named Crypto.com transferred around Rs 57 crore to a woman’s account and the company did not know anything about it for about 7 months. This case is from Australia where the company had transferred 10.5 lakh Australian dollars to a woman in the account of a woman. After receiving the amount, the woman started spending it indiscriminately and after about 7 months the company realized its mistake.

The crypto company came to know about this mistake in December last year and started identifying the woman. The company came to know that the woman’s name is Thevamanogiri Manival and she is a resident of Melbourne. Actually, the company had to refund $ 100 to Manival, but due to some mistake, he sent 10.5 lakh Australian dollars to the woman’s account.

What has the company done now?
When the company came to know about this, it approached a court in Australia and filed a case against the accused woman and her sister. The court has ordered to freeze the bank accounts of the woman. However, the woman has now spent a lot of this amount or has transferred it somewhere else. After this, the court has also ordered to freeze those accounts where the amount has been transferred.

Bought house and did it in the name of sister
During the hearing in the court, it has been learned that the woman has bought a 4-bedroom house in Melbourne by spending around Rs 7.5 crore. He has given its ownership to his sister who lives in Malaysia. The court has ordered the woman to sell her property and return her money to the crypto exchange. Along with this, he has also been asked to pay interest of 27,369 Australian dollars.

Seizure orders not arriving
The company says that the property confiscation orders sent to the sister of the accused woman are failing. Her sister is not responding to the contact efforts being made by the company. At the same time, the accused woman Manival has told that her sister is taking legal advice in this matter and the matter will be heard again in October.
