The BJP took out a candle march on many demands including undeclared power cuts in the district, lack of proper disposal of dead bodies of cows dead from lumpi disease.
On Thursday evening, BJP office-bearers took out a candle march under the leadership of Deputy Leader of Opposition in the Assembly, Rajendra Rathod, regarding the unannounced power cuts in the district, lack of proper disposal of dead bodies of cows dead due to lumpi disease and pending electricity and agriculture connections of farmers. After this, BJP officials submitted a memorandum to the District Collector.
It was informed in the memorandum that due to unannounced power cuts for 4 hours every day in the district, there is a lot of trouble in the rising temperature of summer. Burnt transformers are not being replaced for 7 days at many places in the district. The farmers are facing inconvenience in irrigating their crops due to the pending for the last one to two years, due to the pending irrigation connection of drop-by-drop irrigation of scheduled caste and general farmers.
Due to non-availability of necessary medicines and injections to save healthy and sick cows from Lumpi disease spreading in the district, the cows are dying prematurely. In the urban and rural areas of the district, the disposal of cows that died of lumpi disease is not being done according to the prescribed parameters. Apart from this, due to the distribution of contaminated water in the district, the common man is facing the problem of drinking water. On this occasion, Panchayat Samiti head Deepchand Rahad, former district chief Harlal Saharan, former district president Basant Sharma, Suresh Saraswat, Deendayal Saini and Manoj Saini were present.
