Anakayam: Landslides in Pantallur Kottamala area are shaking a country. Although there were no casualties in the unexpected landslide, the local residents are afraid of more danger.

The families near the accident area were shifted to the camp last day. As the rain stopped, they all returned to their homes. Following the landslide, the nearby roads and roads were covered with mud and traffic.

The Chepur-Arikandampak road was completely closed due to landslides and landslides. On Saturday, under the leadership of the revenue department, the road was cleaned here and traffic was restored. The road will be partially open to traffic, but vehicles are advised to slow down.

Potholes have formed on the road due to heavy rains and landslides. Landslides also caused widespread crop damage in the area.

The landslide occurred in Pantallur Hills, the 13th ward of Anakkayam panchayat, around 10 pm on Thursday. Locals are also demanding that the authorities control the mining activities in the nearby areas as there is still a risk of danger.
