Jamshedpur: Bolero collides with Chowka overbridge, driver dies

Jamshedpur/Chandil (Ashok kumar/Dilip, Bolero going from Jamshedpur to Ranchi collided uncontrollably on the railing of Chowka overbridge on Sunday afternoon. In the incident, the driver Santosh Pramanik died on the spot while 8 people aboard the Bolero were injured. The injured have been admitted to MGM Hospital for treatment. The injured were rescued for half an hour and pulled out. All the people aboard the Bolero were going to Ranchi after hearing the news of the death of Shivcharcha founder Harendranand. He died of a heart attack early Sunday morning. In the meantime, the incident happened.

9 passengers were aboard the Bolero

There were a total of 9 passengers on the Bolero. According to eyewitnesses, the Bolero was in speed at the time of the incident. There was a block on the overbridge. Bolero driver could not see. Suddenly seeing, he turned the Bolero to the left. Due to this the Bolero climbed on the railing and hanged.

After getting information about the incident, SI Mirza Kujur of Chowka police station reached the spot. At the same time, a large number of people had also reached. During this, the injured were rescued for about half an hour. The driver was finally ejected. By then he had died. The people there said that if the Bolero had fallen under the bridge, then there could have been more damage to life and property. There was also the possibility of a fire.
