Faridabad Crime News: Days after a 16-year-old athlete was allegedly stabbed to death in Faridabad, police have arrested more accused. According to the police, the incident happened around 7 pm on Tuesday. Priyanshu was returning after training from a sports complex in Sector 12. Police said that when he reached near a mall, unidentified persons attacked him several times with knives. After which he was taken to the Civil Hospital, where he died. Faridabad Police spokesman Sube Singh said that the main accused Ajay (19) was arrested by the Crime Branch on Thursday.
Sube Singh said that “Ajay also practices in the same training complex. During practice, Ajay had a fight with Priyanshu over something. Because of this enmity, he planned to kill her. When Priyanshu was returning to his house in Sanjay Colony by bicycle, Ajay was following him on a cycle. Ajay rammed his bicycle into the victim’s bicycle near a mall and then allegedly attacked him with a knife.
Priyanshu wanted to bring gold medal for the country
Priyanshu, who was injured in the attack, lay there for 20 minutes. He was later spotted by a passerby, who informed the police. He was taken to the hospital but by then he had died. Two cycles of the accused and Priyanshu have been recovered by the police from the spot.
An FIR has been registered against the arrested accused under section 302 (murder) of the IPC and sections of the Arms Act. Those who have been sent to judicial custody.
Priyanshu’s father Jitendra told that his son was a 12th student in the Government Senior Secondary School. He wanted to make his future in sports along with studies. His dream was to win a gold medal for the country.
