Heavy floods continue to wreak havoc in Pakistan. A large amount of life and financial loss has been caused in this flood. The government of Pakistan has appealed to countries around the world for help. Meanwhile, floods in Pakistan have killed nearly 1,300 people in the country. Relief work of the army is going on in the flood affected areas. The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said on Saturday that 29 people have died in Pakistan in the last 24 hours. The country’s death toll since June has reached 1,290.
Pakistan’s government agencies and private NGOs are also extending a helping hand to the flood-affected areas. Large parts of the country are under water, especially in the southern provinces of Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh. According to a Geo News report, at least 180 people have died in Sindh, followed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (138) and Balochistan (125). Apart from this, at least 1,468,019 houses have been partially or completely damaged in this flood.
Rains in Pakistan

Millions of citizens were left homeless in flash floods due to heavy seasonal rains. 57 lakh citizens have become homeless. The provinces of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and Sindh have been hit the hardest by the floods. Roads and bridges have been swept away by the floods, leaving many areas without connectivity. Agriculture has also suffered a lot and a large number of animals have been killed. Many videos showing the horrors of the flood are going viral on social media.
