Two youths who went to take a bath in the canal with friends drowned in water, in which one youth died while the other has been referred to Rohtak PGI in critical condition. Police has taken the body in possession and sent it to the civil hospital for post-mortem and has started further action. Let us inform that the 22-year-old son of Sukhbir, the cook of Dadri’s SDM, Purva Kumar, along with his companions, had gone to the Indira Canal to take a bath. Two youths were washed away in the water due to the strong current of the water while taking a bath. In the meantime, the people around saved a young man named Anil somehow. On the other hand, if the former Kumar was not found, the police was immediately informed about the incident by calling. Seeing the critical condition of Anil, who was rescued from the water, Rohtak was referred to PGI. At the same time, police and fire brigade personnel reached the spot and after about three hours with the help of divers, recovered the body of the youth from near Ghikada bridge.

The deceased’s companion Kehar Singh and Irrigation Department employee Rajesh Jakhar jointly told that some youths were taking a bath in the canal in the afternoon. During this, when a child’s para slipped, two youths reached deep water in an attempt to save him. The people around took Anil out of the water after hard work, while the former Kumar could not be found. With the help of the police, the body of the former Kumar has been recovered.
