New Scorpio: It’s been over a month since Mahindra’s new Scorpio-N was launched. This SUV had set a record in terms of bookings on the very first day. 25,000 Scorpio-Ns were booked in just one minute. After this, the company also launched the Scorpio Classic in the market and this SUV is also loved by the customers.
Both Mahindra’s SUVs were heavily booked and the company has lakhs of pending orders for both the vehicles. Mahindra is yet to start deliveries of the Scorpio N.
1.5 lakh orders pending –
Going by the figures with both Mahindra’s Scorpios, these SUVs currently have 1.5 lakh orders pending. Mahindra has announced that deliveries of the Scorpio N will begin from September 26. The company has targeted to deliver 25,000 units of the Scorpio N by November this year. It will first focus on delivering the popular Z8L variant.
Deliveries will start from this month –
Mahindra Scorpio N price starts at Rs 11.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 23.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Its prices are likely to increase after the delivery of the first batch of 25,000 units. The company said it will focus on delivering 7,000 Scorpio N units to customers in the first 20 days of delivery from September 26.
Touchscreen system (touchscreen system) –
Mahindra’s new Scorpio has been manufactured at the Mahindra Research Valley in Chennai. The new Scorpio has been designed by Mahindra India Design Studio. Talking about other features, the instrument console of Mahindra Scorpio N will be fully digital.
It also has a large touchscreen system. An 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system bolsters its interior. Apart from this, the brake light in Scorpio N is placed higher on the door and the tail light is in C-shape.
Available in five variants –
The Scorpio-N has been launched with both diesel and petrol engines. Both the engines will get manual and automatic transmission. The four wheel drive (4WD) feature is only available with the diesel engine variants of the Scorpio-N such as Z4, Z8, Z8L. It will be available in five variants Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8, Z8L.
