High-end NVIDIA RTX 30 GPU hits all-time low
Just weeks after it announced a new range of RTX 30 cards, it gets huge discounts.
Retailers are starting to deplete stock of their high-end RTX 30 models, just as NVIDIA will announce a successor to the Ampere architecture. Models that set their highest prices only a few months ago are now getting hundreds of dollars off.
The RTX 3090 series, previously replaced by Ada GPUs, is now priced at $1,129/$959 for the 3090 Ti and 3090 models, respectively. The flagship Ti model, which only debuted in March, is likely to reach half its price in the coming weeks. While the RTX 3090 struggles to sell at $1,000 USD.

According to MyDrivers, not all cards have been priced lower. The recent changes affect only the flagship RTX 30 series and there is almost no price adjustment for any other RTX 30/RX6000 models. It is clear that both NVIDIA and AMD are trying to remove their fastest models, in the first line that will be replaced in the coming weeks (October/November).
