
Kasaragod: Anjushree Parvathi’s death in Perumbala Benur is a suicide. The police recovered the girl’s suicide note and mobile phone details. Earlier it was concluded that he died of food poisoning. However, the doctor who conducted the post-mortem gave the first indication that the body did not suffer from food poisoning and that the body showed signs of death due to ingestion of poison. According to this, the police came to the conclusion that it was suicide.
The indication received from the police is that he is facing mental stress in the suicide note. It is reported that it is more likely to be rat poison. This is believed to be the cause of liver damage.
The police have found information about the use of poison in Anjushree’s mobile phone. No further information has been released. If it is a suicide, the police will take the statements of the girl’s friends and relatives to find out the reasons that led to it.
Meanwhile, Anjushree’s family demanded that the police investigate the death thoroughly. The family members said that Anjushree and three of his friends had eaten the gourd brought from the hotel and the friends had also sought treatment in hospitals. They want to investigate all these matters. The relatives said that neither the health department authorities nor the police informed them that the cause of death was not food poisoning.
The post-mortem report stated that Anjushree’s death was not due to food poisoning and that although the poison had entered her body, it was not from food.
Internal organs were nonfunctional. A chemical test of the internal organs should come back to find out what kind of poison was ingested. The results of the chemical test of the internal organs sent to the Kozhikode lab will come out in the next few days.
