Dileesh Selvarajan, a native of Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, was found hanging dead in the bathroom of his residence after his co-worker did not show up for work. Due to the death of their son, who was the sole support of the family, the parents, who were in trouble, contacted the KMCC Unaisa Central Committee and sought help in bringing the body home.
But after the sponsor refused to bear the expenses for the same, the proceedings went into limbo. The KMCC leadership then approached the Indian Embassy in Riyadh and the Social Welfare Department of the Embassy took over the expenses.
