Nagpur: India vs Australia 2nd T20I will be played in Nagpur today. Pacer Jasprit Bumrah will return to the Indian team. India must win to avoid losing the series. The match will be held under threat of rain. It was raining heavily in Nagpur yesterday. India and Australia did not even get to practice. The weather forecast is that there is a chance of rain today.

India need to make amends for the loss in the first game in Mohali. Indian fans are hoping for the rain clouds to stay away for that. The latest reports are that Jasprit Bumrah, who is free from injury, may play. Bumrah’s arrival will be a big relief for India, who concede a large amount of runs in the death overs. Bumrah was out of action since July 14 due to back pain. India will need to control their overconcession of runs, including experienced pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Meanwhile, it is a relief that the Indian batsmen are all in form. Fans expect a bit more responsible innings from Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Dinesh Karthik’s big actresses are also missing for a few matches. On the other hand, Australia is confident of winning the first match. The match is at 7 pm.

The Aussies won the first T20 in Mohali by four wickets. The visitors achieved the target of 209 runs set by India with the loss of six wickets with four balls to spare. Cameron Green, who came out as the opener and scored 61 runs off 30 balls, and Matthew Wade, who scored an unbeaten 45 runs off 21 balls as the finisher, were the architects of the victory. Opener KL Rahul scored 55 runs off 35 balls, Suryakumar Yadav scored 46 runs off 25 balls and Hardik Pandya scored an unbeaten 71 off 30 balls to take India to 208 runs for six wickets.
