Noida, Jagran Correspondent, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel will arrive in the city via Delhi on Friday to participate in the UNESCO India Africa Hackathon organized at Gautam Buddha University. Noida Traffic Police is alert regarding the program of Vice President, Governor. The convoy of Vice President, Governor will reach the venue via Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. In view of this, the route has been diverted on Noida Greater Noida Expressway from 10 am to 2 pm on Friday. During the passing of the VVIP convoy, the traffic on the expressway will be stopped for 20 minutes.

According to the advisory, the motorists going from Chilla Border towards Greater Noida Expressway should take the elevated road from Golchakkar Chowk to Rajnigandha, Sector-37, the motorists going from DND to Greater Noida should take Rajnigandha, Stadium Chowk, Sector-37 via elevated road. Motorists going to Greater Noida by Express will be sent to Sector-44 Service Road, Motorists going to Parichowk from Zero Point will be sent as destination via Panchsheel underpass to NSEZ. In case of inconvenience, the drivers can contact the helpline number-9971009001.
Emergency services will continue
In addition, vehicles coming from Parichowk towards Noida will be directed to Alpha Commercial, P-3 Roundabout, drivers coming from Agra to Noida will be directed to destination via Parichowk, Alpha Commercial Roundabout. Emergency services will continue to operate smoothly. Vehicles related to other essential works including ambulances will not be stopped. The duty of more than 200 traffic policemen has been imposed on the route. The movement of normal vehicles on the expressway will be stopped for about 20 minutes. Drivers will have to use other diverted route to reach their destination.
Action taken for violation of rules
Under the Road Safety Month, the traffic police is running a campaign against those who violate the rules. On Thursday, people were made aware through Nukkad Natak at Sector-38A, Botanical Garden Metro Station and other places. Action was taken against vehicles parked in no parking at Sector-110 Bhangel Market Marg, Sector-63 SJM Hospital and Sector 63 Chijarsi Cut and other places. Action was taken against auto and other vehicle drivers near Sector 12-22, Sector-52. Near Mahamaya Balika Inter College, Sector-44, Sector-37, the team of LG India and Share for India presented a street play in collaboration with the traffic police. On the other hand, there was traffic pressure in the evening near Sector-15 roundabout and Sector 62 roundabout in the city.
