Jalandhar: A shocking incident of friends killing a friend for money has taken place in Jalandhar, Punjab. A young man was killed by his friends for just Rs 1500. The accused then wrapped the body in a cloth and took it on a scooty and dumped it near the Dakoha Gate. The name of the dead youth is Danish. Danish lived with his relatives on Old Railway Road in Jalandhar. One of his accomplices, Rohit, took him with him on the pretext of a party and was murdered. The police took the body into custody and sent it to the hospital for post-mortem. Only after the post-mortem report, the manner of the murder will be revealed.
Friends killed the young man for money
According to the police, construction was going on at the house of Danish’s relatives. Danish was working to buy things for the house. So he often had money. Therefore, his friends believed that he had more money. His friends killed him only to withdraw this money. But after the murder, only 1500 rupees came out of his pocket.
CCTV footage revealed the murder
Danish has gone missing since Tuesday, his relatives reported him missing to the police. When the police started searching for Danish, they got CCTV footage from Brahma Nagar. The CCTV footage clearly shows Danish being wrapped in a cloth by his friends and being carried on a scooty. After this, investigation revealed that they killed him and threw him near the Dakoha gate. Accordingly, the police has started further action.
