Fokana president by making history; Loka Kerala Sabha Donates 2.5 Lakh Dollars to American Regional Conference as Diamond Sponsor – NEWS 360 – AMERICA

New York: Dr. Babu Stephen, president of Phocana and a prominent businessman, created history by donating two and a half million US dollars to the American regional conference of the Lok Kerala Sabha to be held in New York on June 9, 10, 11 under the leadership of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. KG Manmathan Nair, president of the organizing committee of the regional conference, announced the acceptance. The check was handed over in front of the hotel in Times Square, New York, where the conference was to be held. Phocana ex-president Paul Karukappalli was also present.

Dr. Stephen Fokana, who has achieved a respectable position in the Indian community in America, has changed the face of Fokana after becoming the president. Now Fokana is doing service and charity work not only in America but also in Kerala.

The Kerala convention held in Thiruvananthapuram a month ago was adjudged as the most successful convention in the history of Phocana till date.He also announced the project of providing houses to the poor in various areas. In this, the first house was completed and handed over in Thiruvananthapuram. A donation of 28 lakh rupees was also made for the newly constructed houses.

Apart from the Chief Minister, Speaker AN Shamsir and Finance Minister KN Balagopal are also participating in the Lok Kerala Sabha Conference. The Organizing Committee headed by NORCA Director Dr. M. Anirudhan is at the helm of the Regional Conference. Babu Stephen is the Vice President of the Organizing Committee.
