Joint director Vedprakash sent to jail in connection with receipt of crores of cash and gold

Jaipur. Joint Director Ved Prakash Yadav, who was caught on charges of corruption and commission in the DoIT department, was again produced in the court on Friday after completion of his remand period. From where he has been sent to judicial custody on the orders of the court. Now on the basis of his interrogation and seized documents, the ACB is engaged in connecting the links of corruption and commission in the department.

It is being told that the companies and contractors from whom the information about taking commission has come to the fore. ACB is now preparing to interrogate him as well. ACB sources say that in the inquiry, the information about the companies and contractors from whom Joint Director Vedprakash Yadav took commission has come to the fore. He will be questioned. For this, the representatives of those contractors and companies, whose information has been received, will be called for questioning by issuing notices. It is being told that a representative of a Gurugram company has also been called for questioning.

Further investigation from documents and FSL report: After completion of interrogation of Joint Director Vedprakash Yadav, he has now been sent to jail. In such a situation, further investigation of ACB will be done on the basis of seized documents and FSL report. Actually, the computer, his laptop and three phones seized from Ved Prakash Yadav’s office were sent by ACB to FSL for investigation. Whose investigation report is to come. In such a situation, after the investigation report comes, ACB can proceed with its action on the basis of that. Because the ACB is likely to get hold of many important evidences in the investigation of these devices.

Questioning on remand for five days in two times:Let us tell you that on May 19, Rs 2.31 crore in cash and one kg of gold were found in two cabinets kept in the basement of the DoIT department. When the police investigated on the basis of CCTV footage, it was revealed that this gold and cash belonged to Joint Director Vedprakash Yadav. On this, the police interrogated him in custody and handed him over to the ACB. The ACB arrested him and took him on remand for three and then two days. Now today he has been sent to jail.
