Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will not attend the NITI Aayog meeting on Saturday. He has written a letter to Prime Minister Modi and informed about this. He wrote that not only Delhi but the people of the entire country are strongly opposing the Centre’s Ordinance. People are asking that if even the Supreme Court does not agree with the Prime Minister, where will they seek justice.

Kejriwal wrote that there was no point in attending the meeting when the Constitution was being openly mocked. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao have also boycotted the meeting. Kejriwal and KCR may also meet tomorrow.

In fact, the Supreme Court had ordered on May 11 that the power to transfer officers in Delhi will remain with the Delhi government. After this, the central government passed an ordinance and gave this power to the lieutenant governor. Kejriwal is opposing this ordinance and is meeting opposition leaders.

In the letter, Kejriwal wrote that non-BJP governments are being overthrown or not allowed to function in the last few years. This is not the vision of our country.

BJP overthrows non-BJP government in 3 ways
Kejriwal said in the letter that if the people of a state elect a non-BJP government, the BJP will follow 3 methods to topple that government.

  • First- buy their MLAs.
  • Second- shows the strength of ED and CBI.
  • Thirdly- bring in ordinances, so that the elected government cannot do its job.

Battle won in 8 years, decision reversed in 8 days
Kejriwal has written in the letter that after 8 years of fighting, the people of Delhi have won the battle in the Supreme Court. Then in just 8 days you brought an ordinance and overturned the order of the Supreme Court. If any officer of Delhi Government is not working today, the Delhi Government elected by the people cannot take any action against them.

He asked how the government will function like this. Delhi government is being completely weakened. Is this the vision of the country? Is it a cooperative federation?

If the Prime Minister only supports BJP governments, development will stop
Kejriwal wrote that the Prime Minister of the country is like a father and elder brother in the family. No matter which party is in government in the state, the Prime Minister should take everyone along. If the Prime Minister supports only BJP governments and blocks non-BJP governments, the development of the country will stop.

He urged the Prime Minister to allow non-BJP governments to function and respect the Supreme Court order. Only then our country will move forward.

The Prime Minister presided over the 8th meeting of the Governing Council
PM Narendra Modi will chair the 8th meeting of the Governing Council of NITI Aayog on May 27. In this meeting, emphasis will be placed on the issues of health, skill development, women empowerment. Chief Ministers and Lieutenant Governors of all states and Union Territories have been called in this meeting.

Punjab Chief Minister also boycotted the meeting

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has boycotted the NITI Aayog meeting to be held in Delhi on May 27. Mann said that the central government is creating hurdles in many public welfare schemes of Punjab. Whether it is the RDF amount or the reduction in crop prices, Punjab is consistently losing out. Don’t go to this meeting and have your picture taken.
