Drunk Driver Driving Government Bus Accident; Fortunately, 55 passengers survived!

Theni : An accident occurred at night when the driver was driving a government bus under the influence of alcohol with 55 passengers. While approaching Theni, the accident hit the barricade in the middle of the road, luckily the passengers escaped with minor injuries. A government bus left for Tirunelveli last night from Theni New Bus Station. About 55 passengers boarded the bus and left to go to their hometowns. 

This bus left the Theni New Bus Station at night with 55 passengers and was driven by a government bus driver named Raja from D.Vadipatti village near Devadanapatti, Theni district. The public said that the driver of the first bus that left Theni New Bus Station was driving the bus too fast. Passengers were traveling in fear as the bus continued to drive fast as if there was an accident. 

Then when the bus reached the Thirumalapuram Lamp area next to Theni, the driver lost control and the bus suddenly crashed into the barrier wall erected in the middle of the road. All 55 passengers traveling in the bus luckily escaped with minor injuries. The bus passengers had an argument with the driver who was driving the bus to cause the accident. 

It was found that the bus driver was under the influence of alcohol. People are shocked to see this. Later they informed the nearby Ghana Lamp Police about this. The police rushed to the spot and arranged for an alternative bus to send the passengers away. The doctors confirmed to the Theni Government Medical College Hospital that Raja, the bus driver who caused the accident due to alcohol intoxication, was under the influence of alcohol. The incident of driving a government bus under the influence of alcohol and causing an accident has created a lot of excitement in Theni. The public has demanded that action be taken against the driver who drove the government bus under the influence of alcohol with passengers at night.
