Shirdi : From Shirdi to Bharveer on Samriddhi Highway. The second phase of Igatpuri was inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. An Intelligent Traffic Management System will soon be installed on the Samriddhi Highway. He requested to install this system immediately. At the same time, passengers have also been requested to express their concern about the accidents happening on the Samriddhi Highway.
Although the highway is designed for a speed of 150 km per hour. Even though vehicles are allowed to go at a speed of 120 kmph, not all our cars are capable of running at this speed. Some have faulty wheels, not upgraded. So unless the traffic system is on this highway, caution should be taken especially at night. Since this highway is going straight, the driver is more likely to get drowsy. Once the system is operational, it will be possible to get early warning of accidents and it will be easy to take further action in that regard, so take precautions, Fadnavis has appealed to the public.
