Pandit Rajendra Pandey recited mantras related to marriage by joining online video calling on his laptop at his residence in Seoni and married a wooden girl living thousands of kilometers away in America according to Hindu customs.
67-year-old Pandit Rajendra Pandey has been given USD 5100 i.e. Rs 4.20 lakh as dakshina by his relatives for getting married online.
According to the information, both Devansh Upadhyay, son of Sunil Upadhyay, a resident of Barapathar of Seoni Nagar, and Supriya of Pune are working in a private company in America. On May 21, both got married in a hi-tech manner and tied the knot. The special thing is that the relatives of the bride and groom have reached America. Pandit Rajendra Pandey, present in Seoni, got all the rituals completed by joining online. 57 people participated in the marriage.
Pandit Rajendra Pandey told that this is the first time that he has got a boy-girl living in a foreign country online in a hi-tech manner. The marriage was done according to Hindu customs. Both wanted to get married but due to not having time to come to India, the relatives chose a new way for their marriage. Pandit Rajendra Pandey told that he has recited the story of Lord Satyanarayan online for three Indian families living in Canada and America.
