Lucknow. Engineer Ashutosh Singh (28), who was going on a bike with his uncle, was hit by a speeding vehicle in Sushant Golf City area. According to the police, the youth died of head injuries due to the severe collision despite wearing a helmet, while his uncle is hospitalised. Ashutosh Singh (28), a resident of Jaunpur, was an engineer in a private company in Bangalore. His sick Baba is admitted in PGI. He came to see them after taking leave. Ashutosh Barabanki resident went to PGI along with his uncle Harendra Kumar Singh on Thursday evening. At the time of return, the bike Ashutosh was running. A speeding vehicle hit the bike from behind near Delhi Public School, Sushant Golf City. Uncle-nephew were injured in the accident. On information, the relatives reached the spot and admitted both of them to the hospital, Ashutosh died late in the night.

Ashutosh was married in November
Arvind told that Ashutosh’s father Ashok Kumar Singh is the headmaster of a government school in Jaunpur, while mother Bina Singh and brother Ashwani are at home. Ashutosh was to get married in November. The relatives have not yet given the news of the grandson’s death in the accident to the elderly admitted in PGI.
