tell that The food inspector concerned has been suspended by Collector Kanker while taking disciplinary action for pouring water to find a mobile phone dropped in Paralkot reservoir of Pakhanjur tehsil of Kanker district. In this case, a show cause notice has been issued by the Collector to the Sub-Divisional Officer of the Water Resources Department posted at Pakhanjur.
District North Bastar Kanker Collector Dr. Priyanka Shukla has suspended Food Inspector Rajesh Vishwas posted at Pakhanjoor with immediate effect today after getting information about this incident. It has been mentioned in the suspension order issued by the Collector that Food Inspector Pakhanjur Rajesh Vishwas, due to his mobile falling into the water at Paralkot Reservoir, Pakhanjur, to find the mobile, from May 21, 2023, for 04 consecutive days, scale from West Wear of Paralkot Reservoir On receiving this information, about 21 lakh liters of water was pumped out by diesel pump between the wai, a report was taken from the Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) Pakhanjur on 26 May 2023 regarding this incident, according to the report Mr. Rajesh Vishwas Food Inspector, Pakhanjur In Paralkot Reservoir Pakhanjur, 41104 cubic meters of waste water of the reservoir has been evacuated without permission to find its mobile.
On receiving the report, the Collector has suspended Vishwas Food Inspector, Pakhanjur with immediate effect. It has been mentioned in the suspension order that by misusing his position to find his mobile, without the permission of the competent authority, wasting lakhs of liters of water from Paralkot reservoir in the scorching heat, is indicative of his indecent conduct, which is unacceptable. As the said act is contrary to the provisions of the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1966, he is suspended with immediate effect. During the period of suspension, the headquarters of Food Inspector Rajesh Vishwas will be the District Office, Food Branch, Kanker and during the period of suspension, subsistence allowance will be payable as per rules.
