Injured are being treated in the hospital
A speeding Maruti van rammed into a bike from behind in Aurangabad late Friday evening. Bike rider father-in-law and son-in-law were injured. The incident is near Banua turn of Dev police station area. The injured include 50-year-old Rajaram Saw, a resident of Vishunpur village under Sasur Dev police station area, and Sanjay Saw, 30, son of Chamru Saw, a resident of Munshi Bigha village under Mufassil police station area of Damad Sadar block. After the incident, both the injured were rushed to Sadar Hospital for treatment. From where Sanjay Sao was referred outside for better treatment after first aid.
Driver absconded with Maruti van
According to the information, both father-in-law and son-in-law had gone to the relative’s house in Banuva village of Dev police station area to attend a program. While returning, a speeding Maruti van hit the bike from behind near Banua turn. Due to which the bike rider father-in-law and son-in-law were seriously injured. Hearing the sound of collision of Maruti van and bike, the people around ran to the spot and picked up both father-in-law and son-in-law. And with the help of another vehicle, he was sent to Aurangabad Sadar Hospital for treatment. The family members have been informed about the same incident. After the incident, the driver fled from the spot with a Maruti van.
