Also Sri Lanka, Maldives and Comorin are covered by this wind. Due to this, it is predicted that monsoon will reach Kerala today. But Maharashtra is still waiting for monsoon.
When will monsoon enter Maharashtra? – According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the monsoon is now advancing rapidly. Due to this, the climate is constantly changing. As a result, sometimes rain and sometimes sun are seen. Importantly, the Meteorological Department has also predicted the possibility of monsoon entering Maharashtra on June 10.
Pre-monsoon rains begin in some parts of Maharashtra –Although monsoon is still awaited, some parts of the state have witnessed pre-monsoon rains. Pre-monsoon rains have occurred in Pune, Nashik, Kolhapur, Satara, Sangli, Ahmednagar, Sindhudurg, Solapur, etc. Apart from this, pre-monsoon rains accompanied by thunderbolts and gales have also arrived in Marathwada and Vidarbha.
