How is the film Hit 2?
HIT-The first case kept the audience glued to the seat but the climax didn’t satisfy most of the audience, and when it comes to HIT 2, KD starts a bit slow establishing the world and the story, however, once KD takes up the case of ‘Sanjana’s murder’ , initially the investigation process is up and down, but once the protagonist digs deeper into the case, HIT 2 pulls you into the world and immerses you in the story.
When it comes to the second half, the story picks up the pace by revealing each layer of the case, the emotional quotient of the film is a little low, the mood of the film keeps you glued to the seat till the climax. However, thrillers require a racy screenplay so the slow narration can become a problem but the entire film is engaging except for a few blocks.
Talking about Adivi Sesh performance as KD, the character didn’t challenge him much but he did well as a cool police officer but looked a bit uncomfortable while doing the emotional scene, while Meenakshi had good screen presence but the acting lacked scope, rest of the cast Rao Ramesh, Tanikella Bharani, Posani Krishna Murali, Komali Prasad, Srinath Maganti, Srikanth Iyengar showed their ability.
Shailesh Kolana who impressed as a debut director with HIT-first case gave a unique touch to the movie with new scenes though the story was not new and now with HIT 2 he didn’t try to reinvent himself but Malli engaged us with new scenes even if not a new story, the amount of research he did for the story is clearly visible on screen. , however, despite the slow narrative he succeeds in hooking the audience.
Technically, HIT 2 is good, S.Manikandan impresses with his visuals, his framing, blocking and lighting pulls you into the movie and makes you travel with the story, MM Sri Lekha, Suresh Bobbili songs are not that impressive Thrillers need a solid background score and Stewart Eduri gives an excellent background score. , he brought the intensity in most of the scenes and the rest of the technical team did their best.
Overall, HIT 2 is a good thriller for all sections of audience and a must watch for thriller lovers.
