The young woman was seriously injured in the attack and was shifted to a private hospital in Guntur. Tapasvi died while undergoing treatment due to severe injuries. The locals caught the accused and handed him over to the Pedakakani police. According to the locals, the accused Gyaneshwar from Vijayawada is working as a software engineer. Two years ago, they met and fell in love. A friend of Tapasvi, who is studying in a dental college in Takkellapadu, called her to try to reconcile the two. As a result, Tapasvi has been staying with her friend for a week.
In the process, Gnaneshwar, who was angry with her, planned to kill her. On Monday, Tapaswi’s girlfriend tried to reconcile the two lovers, at which time he got angry and cut Tapasvi’s throat with a surgical blade.
