Abhijeet alias Aditya Srivastava and Daya alias Dayanand Shetty, two iconic characters of the crime investigative show CID, which has been running on TV for almost 20 years, are coming among the audience with a new show. But the twist is that this is not going to be a crime show.
According to the report of HT Times, Aditya and Daya will be seen together in a travel show. He will not solve any crime case in this show. Rather, we will go from place to place and explore the food there. Aditya Srivastava spoke on this show. In an interview given to Etchi, he said,
“Daya and I had been crime-solving together for 20 years. (In CID episodes) Our bond is very strong. Our CID crew has come up with this idea. This is a travel show. We will launch this show on YouTube from May this year. We have explored Satara in Maharashtra. Now we are going to Goa to explore everything.
However, Aditya or Daya did not tell what would be the name of this YouTube channel or this show. It is possible that more updates regarding this show may come in the beginning of May. For the past several days, pictures of many other CID members along with Abhijeet and Daya were coming out. It was being said that something was cooking. But this travel show has now been approved.
Well, after CID, fans wanted to see the entire team together for a long time. This wish of his is now going to be fulfilled. Now it remains to be seen whether this show of Abhijeet and Daya gets as much love as CID got. CID was one of the longest running TV shows in India. It ran for almost 20 years with 1547 episodes. Many characters of the show remained connected with it from the beginning till the end.
