Riyadh: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman wants the countries of the world to stop exporting weapons to Israel. The Saudi demand is in an extraordinary meeting convened by the BRICS countries. The Saudi crown prince also said that there will be no solution to the Palestinian issue without the creation of two countries along the 1967 borders.
BRICS, a group of countries comprising Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, held an extraordinary meeting on the Gaza issue today. It was during this meeting that Saudi Arabia demanded a halt to arms exports to Israel. All countries must stop arms exports to Israel. Disarmament should also be stopped. The Saudi crown prince said that it is impossible to solve the problem in Palestine without a two-state formula.
A serious and comprehensive peace process must begin to establish a Palestinian state along the 1967 borders. There is no way to achieve security and stability in Palestine without implementing it. This was the first meeting after Saudi was invited to join BRICS. The crown prince also said that 500 million riyals are already being collected for Saudi Gaza.
