Jeddah – The General Authority of Civil Aviation has announced that more than one and a half million passengers traveled through Saudi Arabia’s airports during Ramadan and Eid holidays. More than 86,000 services were operated by 100 airlines during this period, an 18 percent increase in the number of passengers compared to last year, officials said. Jeddah was the busiest airport in Saudi Arabia. 53.8 lakh passengers were received in Jeddah. Other major airports are Riyadh (32.3 lakh) and Madinah (10.4 lakh). Apart from these, 28.5 lakh passengers passed through other airports.
