In the satellite image, the lake can be seen stretching for about 100 km. This photograph, taken on August 28, shows that various parts of the country have been affected by floods. Due to the continuous heavy rain due to the change of monsoon, the rivers are flooded. Various dams are overflowing.
It is said that 1 in 7 people have been affected by the current floods. It is also reported that 3.30 crore people have been affected by floods and landslides due to heavy rains and 1,136 people have lost their lives. Following this, the government of Pakistan has declared a national disaster and has intensified rescue operations.
In this case, the United States has also announced that about 238 crore rupees will be given to Pakistan as disaster financial aid on humanitarian basis. In Pakistan, the total death toll from heavy rains is 1,162 and 3,554 injured. According to the UN, 3.3 crore people have been affected since last June. Officials have informed.
