KC Chekuri, a senior leader of Telugu Desam Party’s NRI wing, was arrested. Dallas police took him into custody.
Police arrested TDP leader KC Chekuri in Dallas, America. On the night of December 31, the clash between TDP and Jana Sena turned into a whirlwind. A commotion erupted with mutual attacks. The police arrested Chekuri in the same case and took him to the first Carlten police station. After that it was transferred to Dallas station.
Clash broke out between the TDP Janasena factions in the night party organized by the representatives of Telugu NRI Association on December 31. During the New Savantsaram celebrations.. in musical night song selection.. in the clash between Balayya’s fans and Pawan Kalyan’s fans, TDP NRI wing chief KC Chekuri jumped on Pawan’s fans. Pawan’s fans, who were agitated by this, turned away. After that the fight gradually turned into a whirlwind. Casey Chekuri lashed out with his fists at the event managers who tried to intervene. On their complaint, the police registered a case and arrested Chekuri. The TDP leaders who entered the field are trying to reach a compromise with the Janasena members.
