His hometown is Annamaya district of Andhra Pradesh. Srikanth lost his life in a train accident at Princeton Junction station last week. He lives in Plainsboro, New Jersey.
Amtrak train 178 was traveling from Washington to Boston when Srikanth was involved in the accident just east of Princeton Junction, an Amtrak spokesperson told the Daily Voice news agency.
Srikanth Digala has a wife and a ten-year-old son. As he is the breadwinner of the family, he started collecting funds through the Go Fund Me page to help his family. Telugu Association of North America (TANA) along with many diaspora Indian organizations have stepped in to help Srikanth’s family and are in touch with the Indian Embassy in America to arrange his last rites.
On the other hand, Srikanth’s family members are mourning the news of his death.
Meanwhile, a woman of Indian descent has died in a fatal plane crash in America. Her daughter, who was seriously injured in the same accident, is in critical condition.
Going into details. Settled in America Roma Gupta (63), her daughter Reva Gupta (33) were traveling in a small plane on Sunday.
