New York: Amnesty International USA Executive Director Paul O’Brien said the Israeli army is committing war crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza using US-made weapons. He called for the US to stop sending weapons to Israel.
O’Brien pointed out that an investigation conducted by Amnesty found that the Israeli army was committing war crimes in Palestine. He thanked the 37 members of Congress who voted against the US bill to provide $26.38 billion in military aid to Israeli forces.
The U.S. is helping Israel procure Iron Dome, missile systems and other weapons. Apart from Israel, military aid will also be transferred to Ukraine and Taiwan. The US Senate has passed a bill to provide a total of 9500 crores in military aid.
Ukraine has the largest share. Ukraine, which has been at war with Russia for 790 days, will be given $61 billion. 26 billion dollars will be given to Israel, which has been conducting human trafficking in Gaza for 201 days. Military aid worth 8.12 billion dollars will be distributed to Taiwan for moves against China.
